So I call this law firm close to end of day on a Friday. I spoke with a lady that took down my information a few details and said someone would get back to me. I figured i would have to wait until Monday since it was so close to end of day and on Friday. But much to my surprise at 4:50pm I get a call from Igor himself. I explained my case to him in detail. He gave a few options to me and pointed me in the right direction. All this without any compensation or pricey consult fee. He's a straight shooter that tells it like it is. Igor Raykin was unprofessional and unresponsive. He charges $275/hour for all time spent, including communication via email. He rarely responds to any spur of the moment questions I have on legal matters, but when I try obtaining records I need, his assistant criticizes me for trying to take matters into my own hands instead of 'letting the professionals handle it'. Well, then maybe the 'professionals' should actually acknowledge when I have a question. When I chose to finally end the contract with this firm, I received a very rude response from him threatening to charge his 'usual' rate for emails if he had to respond again. This would technically be illegal, as I have told him that he is no longer working for me, so he cannot charge me if he should choose to respond to an email. Anyway, my family is going to call the bank to make sure we get it shut down.He is currently harassing me by sending me more emails and telling me that he will bill me for each of them.Update: 10:59 am, he threatened legal action against me, calling this review 'defamatory'. I will keep this review up, because I am not going to cave to his bullying.
