I went to them July of 2019 we never saw court until November 2019 and it wasnt even for custody. I tried emailing my lawyer for a month and was ghosted. Somehow they went through my $7500 retainer fee and are now asking me for $1000 for my custody case. I was told theyd review why I have no money left when nothing was been done on my case till March. Ive emailed requesting this for months. I had to get a personal loan in order to pay the retainer fee. Ive had emails requesting replenishment on March 2 $500, May 19 for $700, and another on Jun 10 for $1000. There is no way $7500 of work has been done on my case since nothing happened before November or since that last court appearance. They charge $45 admin monthly fee on top of every email being over $35 and 2 phone calls cost roughly $100. An email $65.

This firm was very professional handling my divorce. Every time I had to visit the firm I was always greeted by the staff and they always made me feel comfortable and welcomed. The staff at Antonyan Miranda are very helpful and attentive, not just over the phone by in person as well. When you enter the receptionist are very welcoming and always have the best candy. The attorneys are the very best in San Diego, there is not a family law issue they cannot handle!

Amanda was great to work with. She drafted a prenuptial agreement for me . I had discussed things that were non negotiable between my now spouse and I . Then she brought up good points that I had yet not even thought about. She not only was knowledgeable but also very supportive and patient with us . When it came down to signing the agreement , she worked with our hectic schedules and then emailed us our copies quickly. It was important for me to have someone that not only wanted to help a difficult situation, but also someone that made themselves available for every question I had at any time through phone/ email/ office visit. I dont normally leave reviews but Ive see some of the ones that have been left here and decided to leave my own experience. A lot of people complaining about their bill or the firm being too expensive, you get what you paid for people. I had Brenda Lopez assist me with a custody issue and yes could I have gone to a different place for a cheaper rate, probably, but you cant put a price on fighting to see your children.

Warning! This firm's only focus is to over bill and misappropriate your retainer. My attorney and I had a clear understanding of my limited financial status and extreme vulnerable state.They use a front line associate who is super sweet to lure clients into believing that they have your best intentions in mind. This firm intentionally missed sending a monthly invoice to me resulting in tens of thousands of dollars charged to me. Dozens of inconsistencies in double/over billing and needless document corrections were all charged to me. I am formally seeking billing dispute from the California State Bar but in the meantime - this firm went further and has submitted a lien against me. This firm relishes in unethical business practices and shame on them for preying on vulnerable clients. Please learn from my mistakes and find another family law firm you can trust!

They did little to fight our custody case. They were good at one thing only ....asking for another 5000 retainer. Almost every month. We had to beg to meet with them and we lost in court due to lies from the other side. Poor preparation poor representation. Beware....look elsewhere for a custody issue. Charge excessive for poor service. It is our experience....not just an opinion!
