I reported this woman to the State Bar of California. Case number: 20-O-05240. Check the status of this complaint at the toll free number: 800 - 843 - 9053. She's currently under investigation of the State Bar of California. Tien Dao Duong shamelessly holds me hostage in this abusive marriage. I am married to Alvin Ngoc Ho. He filed for divorce on October 28, 2019. I was served on November 10, 2019. I responded to his petition on November 22, 2019. I have no children. I do not own any properties. I do not own a car. I do not have a job, I do not even have health insurance. His abuse resulted in me being hospitalized and thinking about dying for nearly six months in 2019. I spent the other half of 2019 recovering from the trauma he put me and my family through. I do not have a job or grad school to go to now. I do not demand a penny from him. I have released him from all of our joint financial obligations: the rental lease, the PG&E account, and the Comcast account. He has closed both of our joint checkings and savings accounts. All I want is an official divorce. However, he and his attorney act like walls and refuse to file two legally required documents with the local court. I have exchanged over 70 emails with the Family Law Facilitator and the Self-Help Center of the Yolo County Superior Court. I am trying very hard to finalize my divorce Case number FL 19 1572. However, Alvin Ngoc Ho and his attorney Tien Dao Duong have used various techniques to prevent me from obtaining a divorce: intimidation, lying, and refusing to file legally required documents with the court. I have extensive medical records from both China and the U.S. to prove how much I have suffered. Emotional abuse is not classified as criminal behavior, but the ramifications of it is way worse than physical abuse. I do not remember how many times I have been unable to sleep at night because of my tinnitus, which resulted from Alvin Ngoc Ho’s brutal abuse. He put me under unthinkable high stress through invisible emotional and mental abuse in December 2018. I have been suffering from tinnitus since early 2019. Late at night, when everyone is enjoying their sleep and the beauty of quiet, it’s when my tinnitus is the loudest. The ringing is going to follow me wherever I go. I want to legally be divorced from him. I do not remember how many times I am explaining my sufferings to seek help. Every time I explain what trauma I have suffered, it feels like someone tearing up my old wounds I want to be legally divorced from my abuser. I have contacted every possible non-profit organizations in the Yolo County and Sacramento County: Empower Yolo, WEAVE, I-CAN Victim Assistance Network. Alvin Ngoc Ho punched me in the head on November 5, 2018. I reported him to the UC Davis Police Department Case Number C18 0969. After a police officer told Alvin Ngoc that if he ever hit me again, he would be arrested, he started emotionally and mentally abusing me. As a result of Alvin Ngoc Ho's brutal abuse, I spent nearly 132 days in the hospital. My family paid more than 20, 000 dollars for my treatment. All I request is an official divorce. Alvin Ngoc Ho and Tien Dao Duong have been shamelessly holding me hostage.
