My name is Gary Bishop and it's my pleasure in writing this review.I have known the senior lawyer at this firm for many years and have used his services and that of the firm several times. It has been my experience that the professionals and staff at this law firm are professional, compassionate, very knowledgeable and very understanding. Whenever one needs to hire a lawyer, especially a family law lawyer, things are typically very strained and difficult. This law firm helped me through the process with empathy for my situation and that of the other side, with unparalleled knowledge of the laws and procedures and at a cost that was commensurate with the services required. I very highly recommend this firm in general and its attorneys. I have read the other review posted here and I must say that the experience reported by that person was most definitely NOT my experience. No expense was incurred without my being told about it beforehand, and when I had questions about my bill they were addressed immediately and to my great satisfaction. Every month I received detailed bills that itemized all services rendered by the lawyers and paralegals, date of work and detailed description of the services; there were no surprises. Any legal services are generally expensive, and I was apprised at all times of the costs involved as an on-going practice. It is my understanding that such is the general policy at this firm. In my opinion, especially when dealing with processional services, you tend to get what you pay for; in my experience I received the utmost value for the fees required to resolve my matter, which was done with complete professionalism and regard for ethics from all members of the firm and in as short a period of time as the facts of my situation would allow.

Four years ago, I reasoned that matters of custody, support, and property division cannot be put into the hands of an attorney who is not a perfect fit for this line of work. I found Marshall and his entire staff to be reassuring, empathetic, and patient. Marshall was even-handed rather than overly ticked off on my behalf, yet demonstrated when certain episodes required it that he would go right out to the front line, composed all the while, getting his point across in no unmistakable terms, and get everyone past whatever the battle was about. He was optimistic, confident, and always prepared. A review should also be balanced, and I would suggest that opposing attorneys meet directly to make progress more quickly. I hope weight is put on my comments by any viewers because my case took four years; so, I had plenty of time to develop a complete insight into this firm. I would not recommend going to the many discount or subpar lawyers out there. Marshall was in fact less expensive because of his phenomenal dedication and knowledge. From the time I filed, I noticed my attorney was a lot like me: treating the other side with respect, rather than employing the common good cop-bad cop strategy. I found Marshall to be top to bottom as courteous and ethical a person as I have come across in any area of law.
