I hired David Gean back in Mid April of 2019 to represent me in a custody case for my son. The initial consultation was thorough and he asked questions about things I didnt even think to look into. He was quick at replying back to any thoughts, questions, or concerns I had via phone or email. He even replied to me on the weekends! I hired Michael Pierce at this law firm at the end of January. He told me he would have papers served the following week, then they would have 30 days to respond. 30 days later I start trying to contact him via email and calling his office to find out an update. I did not get a reply for over a week when I found out that the paperwork was never sent off to get served like it should have been. And now, the paperwork has still not been served because they are not following up to see what is taking so long! I am literally having to call and send emails constantly just to bug them enough to look into it. Completely unprofessional. Do Not Use them if you are on a timeline and if you like to be able to get information about your case!

I hired David Gean just recently and I have to say best move I could have made, David was always there if I needed him for everything I can not say he did not return not one single call or text message. If David was busy I had no idea he was he made me feel like I was the most important case at that moment. I would 100% hire David Gean or any of the other Attorneys there. This place is a tool box. But none of the tools are worth using. One of these guys offered to speak with a detective for me over the phone just to see what is going on with a case. He tells me it'll cost 500$ . Are you kidding? I understand attorneys time is valuable but c'mon. Considering I went down the street to a different office and that guy called for free. I offered to pay but he was like, 'No. It took 5 minutes. You're cool.' Thanks, other guys.

David Gean from even my initial inquiry, to first visit made me feel like I was important, and my case was important to him. He was always promptly back to me with any questions, Day, night, or weekend. He shot me straight, but kept me informed and encouraged. Through his ability, he was able to work a miracle plea that couldve been 6 years in prison, to a deferred sentence. The judge reminded me, that I needed to thank him thoroughly for a job far above expectations. These guys haven't accomplished anything in the time they've been working on a friend's case. Our friend doesnt believe we even had representation hired because the attorney had never visited with him in a month, while he has been sitting in jail.

My friend had them draw up papers on a home her father owned...because of improper wording, up on his death, there was room for his ex to lay claim to the family home. My friend went back to them to point out the error. They refused to work with her on this although it was their ambiguity on words. Her family hired another attorney to take their case.

We put a down payment on a retainer with this law firm To handle a criminal case with their attorney Michael D. Pierce. After nearly a month the attorney has not even made a formal entrance on the case, nor visited or contacted the client who is sitting in jail. After seeking more aggressive defense, this law firm is being questionable about giving us our retainer back, even though we have proof the attorney hasn't even made a formal entrance on the case.

Tried to call this firm multiple times. Everytime I call it says that the number is no longer in service.

Michael Pierce is a great Oklahoma DUI lawyer for Sallisaw, Roland, or anywhere in Choctaw County. I'm an Arkansas resident who was charged with a DUI in Oklahoma, and I'm glad I didn't go for a '$500 special' Sallisaw DUI lawyer. Price was still reasonable and, more importantly, he did a great job. Outcome was better than I thought possible in my grim situation. Mr Pierce is a regular in Choctaw County Court and understands the ins and outs of being an Arkansas resident with Oklahoma DUI charges. Very personable guy who will explain what's going on, and office's secretary is great to deal with as well. If I lived in the River Valley Area, this is where I'd go when I needed a Fort Smith attorney. I live in Fayetteville and was happily represented in Sallisaw by Gean, Gean, & Gean.

My experience with attorney David Gene was not good. I watched him in court, lie ridicule, embarrass, and skew the truth to every witness unless they said what he agreed with. Yes, I know this is what some attorney's do when fighting for a case, but that does not make it right. When you intentionally make biased remarks and lie to the judge, that is not justice. As far as being a Christian; . Christians fight for what is right and just. He does not do this. He will get his way no matter what he has to do to get it. It doesn't matter what side you are on, you should always seek the truth. The justice system in Van Buren is unfair and biased. This is just my opinion and what I witnessed.
