4 years ago Mr. Schmidt took care of a probate issue for me and a family property. Recently upon attempting to sale the property I was told it was not mine by the title company. Mr. Schmidt contacted the title company and the problem was fixed promptly. He took time to address my issue some 4 years later.

Do not go here for anything.i filled for divorced and Paul didn't do anything he was suppose to do in my divorce case! He let my divorce case get closed! So now I'm going to have to find a new lawyer and pay the retainer fee all over again to get my divorce! I would not recommend anybody here! Paul will take your money and not do anything for you. And I think it's sad that you double charge a family. I think they should get their money back.

Mr. Schmidt was 15 minutes late to our appointment. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and hired him anyway. Paid him $250 for 'advice to retain another lawyer out of state'. He will not return phone calls. Another friend consulted with him a couple days before we did, and said he was late to his appointment as well. Fortunately, he was smart enough to go elsewhere and not waste his money.

Paul Schmidt you should make this right and give that family their $2900 back that you fraudulently double-charged them for. It even said on the receipt that you wouldnt re-run the original check. I just checked with the family today (4-23) and there has been no effort from you whatsoever according to them to get them their money back.

Our family was forced to step in to protect an unborn child from certain questionable conditions.This situation called for immediate action and we sought help from the Schmidt Law Firm located in Cabot, AR.Paul Schmidt Sr. quickly and passionately took our depositions and filed for an emergency ex-parte order giving us temporary custody as soon as the child was born. Promptly after we were awarded temporary custody, Mr. Schmidt filed for permanent custody. In less than two months after the birth of our grandchild we were awarded permanent custody. I shouldn't even give this attorney 1 star but I had to. He didn't represent me properly, he didn't even responded to the motion filed in the appropriate times. What he did to me was very shameful. He is a snake. I am filing a complaint with the office of professional conduct. He will not get away with what he has done because I will not allow him to get away with it. I highly recommend that you look elsewhere for an attorney. This man is a snake.

Very poor representation. Paul Sr. gave advise to me that helped lose the case. Did not even file paperwork that was to be presented. Did not speak up for US in court. Flat out caused me to lose the kids that we raised for 6 years. I had a follow up adoption case to start after the loss of guardianship. Which was paid In full, he did not refund the money, there was nothing in the retainer papers that said no refunds even tho he didn't do anything. If you want to give your hard earned money to somebody for nothing,- send it to me.

On a recent trip to visit family, we learned that our eldest sons girlfriend was nine months pregnant with his child. What should have been wonderful news, horrified us and our entire family. Struggling with a 10+ year drug addiction and homeless, our son continues to deny having a problem and without knowing much about the girlfriend, we could only suspect that she was using drugs as well. We knew if the baby even survived birth that if taken into their care, the baby would be in a situation that could cause his immediate harm or death. Several attempts were made by family members to encourage them to consider their options and to make plans to do whats best for their child. Unfortunately, the girlfriend was adamant about raising their child in the homeless, drug abusive, and violent environment that was part of their daily lives. Obviously the situation called for immediate action and we were referred to the Schmidt Law Firm located in Cabot, AR. Schmidt Sr. represented me in a divorce that was filed 10/18/2011. I still haven't heard whether I am divorced or not as of today (8-30-13). Communication is very poor. I can only speak with the secretary, who often says that Mr. Schmidt has the file and she can't tell me anything. He was very slow to move on a motion for drug testing of my spouse, so the drug user's attorney dragged it out by not communicating with Schmidt. He was not aggressive at all, so the drug user passed the test by abstaining from using for a time, then went back to using. Schmidt sent another attorney to represent me at the final hearing. He had a little fire, but I haven't spoken with him since the hearing in April 2013. DO NOT hire anyone from this law firm. They suck big time.
