Edmiston Law Office

I had originally left Mr. Edmiston and his team a RAVE review (even though we did not win). While he did an excellent job in the courtroom ( we didnt win, but made much progress) his follow through leaves something to be desired. Since court, the need to file contempt against the other party has arisen on multiple occasions. He has not responded to one phone call or email. There were also inaccuracies in the order that I asked to be rectified. To rectify these inaccuracies, a petition to alter, amend or vacate must be filed. I now know that it has to be done within a specific amount of time. That time has ran out. I sent several emails explaining the issues and they were never addressed. I have called and spoken to his assistant who always said she will have him call me or she will talk to him or his wife and get back to me....then never does. Now, my family continuously pays for that and will have to seek out alternate defense. This was not a financial problem either. Mr. Edmiston was paid in full and I would have gladly paid more to have these issues addressed. If he was unable to help, a simple message stating such would have been sufficient.

Not a man that follows through. He will leave you high and dry.

I would highly recommend him to represent anyone in need of an Attorney. He's human, has flaws, but in the courtroom? He's magnificent!! He will fight HARD to defend his clients as if he's fighting for his OWN family! Communication was A+.

Parker is an amazing lawyer. He represented me and I was more than pleased with the outcome! Not to mention Parker is a great person. Please disregard all the negative reviews from people who have never even used him as their attorney! They have a personal vendetta against him.

The man owned a Facebook group where you would take pictures of people in public and make fun of them. This INCLUDES his clients and this included children. Perhaps you've seen it on facebook as it's been shared over 1,000 times (and growing). What a sick individual. Do NOT give this man the time of day unless you like your photo being posted and made fun of.

Parker Edmiston likes to post photos of people around Scottsboro and in businesses on a private group on Facebook group and make fun of them. He was uncovered and he has yet to apologize

Do not use him UNLESS you want him to invaid your privacy, and him take photos of you without your permission or knowledge.Parker has been using a Facebook page to bash people for looking and I quote like 'Tweakers' and 'Douchebags' he posts the pictures of people he takes online and makes fun of them!

Great communication, if i ever had a question, I'd just shoot an email and within a couple of hours I'd have an answer. Quick, mess-free divorce within three months. Couldn't be happier.

Nice friendly helpful place

Terrible experience. First off he refuses to tell you anything at the start and requests money. He says its only a consultation and for him to tell you anything he will need a large sum of money. He won't listen to any details so you have no Idea if he can even fight for you. He and his staff takes a lengthy time at leisure to address your case and find out what needs to be done.The receptionist at the front desk is not very intelligent and ends conversations with 'there is no way for me to answer that question' or ' I do not know' on the simplest of questions. They dodge you on the phone with not giving you any information. If you have more then one person contacting them while they have been dodging questions they say that Your party needs better communication. (Better communication on questions that Haven't been given answers?)Upon calling the office and asking to actually talk to someone who know's what they are talking about she hands the phone off to Parker in a disgusted and overly exhausted fashion causing Mr. Edmiston to take the phone and let you know that you aren't important. You do not matter. You are just one of his cases in a stack of cases. He does this without assessing the situation or checking if his staff are doing their job appropriately. After a lengthy conversation I get an apology that his office should have contacted the defendant prior to me contacting them to make sure something was being done. He doesn't keep track of clients cases. He took the case and he couldn't handle it.He blackmails you into agreeing to terms that Do not meet one standard you have previously set and then makes slight hits that you are going to be out thousands of dollars and pending going to court for years if you don't agree to everything he has laid down. Terms that going in you said you would never agree to and he knew you wouldn't.Ending his contact with you he says he has done all the work you have paid him for and if you want anything else done you need to pay him a substantial amount of money to do anything. He is worse then a crooked contractor taking your money and walking. He is a joke of an Attorney. Is this how all attorney's work??
