John was a poor example of the legal system...in this case he failed to seek subpoenas for information that would exeronate me and seems have conspired with the prosecutor but all his actions to cause me to be convicted when I was clearly within my rights do not produce a conviction and I was released despite his efforts to the contrary. He is a fool and deserves no star...he did FINALLY submit a subpoena for cop body cam 6 months after the fact and REFUSED to process others. Worthless piece of garbage.

The worse lawyer and paralegal that I have ever come in contract with .don't use unless u enjoy throwing your money away and getting screwed at the same time .I gave him 5 for doing absolutely nothing for his client but taking money. i was left wondering if maybe he was working for the other side. It would not be the first time that a lawyer was taking money from both sides and then showing royalty to the one that pays him the most .He and his paralegal are all about the money and when they get that then you can't get them to do anything .but they will tell you how to do the things that you paid them to do for yourself .so go ahead throw away your money and then do all the work yourself that u have paid them to do .

I've used John R. Campbell for over 10 years now. He has done a divorce and a workman compensation. He is one of the best attorneys in town hands down.. Thanks to John I still would be dealing with my ex. But that ended thanks to him.. So thanks John for everything your the best.So, I highly recommend him t o family and friends. I will continue to use him in the future if needed.

John Campbell and his staff were the best! I was always treated with respect and they were very caring and understanding of my situation. After dismissing another attorney I spoke with John and he was on the ball getting my case settled. Anytime I called with a question or problem Chrissy or John always answered or called me back in a very timely manner. They were concerned with my health and made me as comfortable as I could get. I would highly recommend John and Chrissy for any of your legal needs!! Two thumbs ups !!! You will not find a more informative or caring law team to work with!

Lack of communication and I wasn't happy with my service at all I would give them half of one star for that but the secretary is nice and friendly and John is a good guy just not a good lawyer

John R. Campbell is the sorriest attorney that I've ever hired. I paid $2,250 in retainer fees for this sorry guy to represent me in a civil case against my ex-wife. He did not represent me in a fair manner being that I drove from Oklahoma to Alabama for the issue. He only negotiated the amount I had to pay concerning the initial suit. He did not argue his attorney fees and other entitlements whatsoever. Basically he got paid, she got over, and I got screwed. His useless paralegal failed to notify on payments received from the defendant except once and also (2) prior court dates that came up after the case was closed - neither Campbell or his paralegal notified of the cases causing me to miss one case and barely make it to the other case even as a courtesy after the court sent them notification. His paralegal also was nonchalant in communication as she doesn't care. I would not recommend him to a dead dog and I have contacted Legal Shield and recommend that he be removed from Legal Shield as he does not represent or stand for what Legal Shield is about. As an attorney - they should fight for their clients and he is not a great attorney nor his staff. DO NOT RETAIN JOHN R. CAMPBELL or you will be better off hiring a donkey.

John and his staff assisted me in my divorce and in a refile for child custody changes. John and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and are willing to go the extra mile to help out and to help understand what can and can't happen under you circumstances. You have choices and they are willing to explain those depending on your exact circumstances and will work with you to try to keep cost down and keep painful ordeal as bareable as possible!

I used Mr. Campbell for my divorce/child custody case. It was an uncontested divorce except for the fact that my ex wanted child support. Well, I didn't know any better, and I knew she wouldn't sign the papers if there was no child support so I agreed to give her what Mr. Campbell had come up with: $400. My ex originally wanted something like $650 per month so I looked at that as a win. Well, after talking with different people who have joint legal and physical custody like I do, they wonder why in the hell am I paying my ex ANY child support, since I have her week on and week off. And, after talking with two different lawyers, they wonder the same thing. The lawyer I have now told me if I'd taken our case to court, the judge would NOT have awarded child support to my ex. We will be going back to court needless to say, will definitely not be using Mr. Campbell who screwed me over.
